KTR fulfills his promise to NTR

The Nandamuri family is not famous for movies but also politics. While Jr NTR is continuing grandfather NTR's acting legacy, in Telangana though KCR's heir apparent KTR is doing well to continue his father's political legacy.

Little do people know KTR and Jr NTR are friends. In fact, Tarak asked Taraka Rama Rao to watch his recent release Nannaku Prematho movie and KTR who was busy with Greater elections promised he'd watch it soon. Now that the elections are over and even results are out, KTR as promised to NTR went to Banjara Hills Multiplex and watched the movie. He even called and NTR and praised the actor's work. How nice is their friendship!

'Visaaranai' villain to play a dacoit in 'Baahubali 2'

Actor Ajay Ghosh, who impressed audiences and critics alike with his menacing performance in Tamil thriller "Visaaranai", is essaying the role of a dreaded dacoit in "Baahubali: The Conclusion".

"I play a character called bandipotu (dacoit) Veeraya, who is part of Anushka's kingdom in the film. I have already completed shooting for five days in the Kerala schedule last month. I will join the sets again in March to shoot rest of my portion," Ajay told.

Excited about being part of India's biggest motion picture, he says he can't wait to watch himself on the screen."It's a very interesting role. I am very excited and eager to know how audiences will receive it," he said.In Vetrimaaran-directed "Visaaranai", which released in theatres last week, Ajay played a conniving and sadistic police officer.Since the film's release, he has been getting extremely positive feedback for his role.

"Although it is a negative character, people have accepted it wholeheartedly. When I watched the first show with my director and walked out, I feared I would be hated by all, but the exact opposite happened. I'm glad they all liked it," he said.

The film, which is partly based on Tamil novel "Lock Up", deals with police brutality. It stars Dinesh, Murugadoss, Samuthirakani and Kishore in important roles.Ajay admits he was teary-eyed in the interrogation scenes.

"I was in tears when I had to beat up Dinesh black and blue. Although we used dummy batons, the force with which it was used made me so uncomfortable. But we had to continue shooting, because these were crucial scenes of the film," he said.

Ileana on ideal love

Gorgeous Goan Beauty Ileana left her stardom in south and tried her luck in Bollywood. Ileana after having a dream debut in Bollywood with Barfi, failed to get the much wanted commercial hit. Superstar Mahesh Babu and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu will unveil the theatrical trailer of upcoming Telugu thriller "Kshanam".

"Mahesh and Samantha, who are busy shooting for 'Brahmotsavam', have agreed to launch the film's trailer. The makers will release the trailer for general public on Wednesday," a source from the film's unit told.Directed by debutant Ravikanth Perepu, "Kshanam" stars Adivi Sesh and Adah Sharma in the lead roles.

Pawan Should Condemn Narayana's Criticisms on Chiranjeevi!

No sooner had Megastar Chiranjeevi decided yesterday to visit Kirlampudi than TDP's minister Narayana lambasted him proclaiming that Chiranjeevi cheated Kapus by launching PRP. Nonetheless, these criticisms of Narayana haven't gone down well with the Congress leaders of the AP state. 

Senior politician C Ramachandraiah came down heavily on Narayana. Moreover, Ramachandraiah questioned Pawan Kalyan why he had not countered Narayana and defended his brother Chiranjeevi. It is a known thing that Pawan Kalyan was the leader of Yuvarajyam, a wing of PRP, then.

As we all know, Pawan Kalyan has been extending his loyalties to the TDP due to unknown reasons ever since the launch of Janasena. Every political statement of his appears to be a pre planned one and might have been prompted by the TDP's leadership. Nobody Liked Me In School: Katrina Kaif

Mumbai: She enjoys immense popularity as a Hindi film celebrity today, but Katrina Kaif says nobody liked her when she was in school.

"I was always a shy Cancerian child. I really didn’t speak to anyone. I wasn’t very popular and nobody really liked me in school. My first friend was an Indian boy who was really very nice to me. When I was about 16, then I think I started making friends and started getting more popular,” Katrina said on chat show “Yaar Mera Superstar”.

While she has been in the limelight for her rumoured relationships with actors like Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina said that if she has to date a person, one thing she would notice would be his persona and the vibe around him. 

“You should get a vibe from the person. Also, a guy should smell good,” the “Namastey London” actress said.

Katrina will next be seen onscreen in forthcoming film “Fitoor”, which is slated to release on February 12.

Abhishek buying Young Heroes Films

Abhishek Pictures is buying worldwide theatrical rights of young hero films, apart from distributing few big tickets in Nizam. After buying worldwide theatrical rights of Sai Dharam Tej starrer Supreme, they have now acquired all rights of Naga Shourya's Kalyana Vaibhogame for a decent price.

Kalyana Vaibhogame is said to be a family entertainer directed by Nandini Reddy. The film that has Malavika Nair playing Naga Shourya's love interest was initially planned for January 22nd release. However, it was postponed with lack of theatres availability. The makers are now looking for right slot to release the film, probably in the last week of this month.

With the film in safe hands of Abhishek Pictures, it will have grand release. Will this movie provide break for Naga Shorya, Nandini Reddy and Malavika; we need to wait until release to get an answer for this!

Balayya Said, I'm NTR, You're SVR

For decades, the power packed actor and dubbing artist Saikumar has been enthralling his fans with his mesmerising voice. Saikumar also possesses a hidden talent of delivering jawdropping lengthy monologues on stage.

In his latest interview given to a popular news channel, Saikumar stunned everyone by delivering a 5 minute long marathon monologue from the famous mythological play Karna. Explaining the back story behind him playing Karna, Saikumar said that it was an unfulfilled wish of his late father and popular dubbing artist PJ Sharma to visit America.

Saikumar revealed that he at last fulfilled his father's wish by performing the famous mythological play Karna at a Telugu convention in America a few years ago. Saikumar's outstanding 5 minute nonstop monologue got a superb response from the audiences in the US.

His performance heavily inspired Balakrishna, who ended up playing Dhuryodhana on the stage without even a costume. Balayya even went up to him and told him, "Saikumar, I am NTR and you are SVR". They don't call him the Dialogue King for nothing.

Exclusive: Vetrimaran confirms the music director 'Vada Chennai'

G,V.Prakash Kumar has been the soulmate music composer of director Vetrimaran. Everyone knows that GV has been the music director of 'Polladhavan', "Aadukalam' and 'Visaranai' the three film Vetri has directed so far. G.V. has also did the musical part for 'the films 'Udhayam NH4', 'Kaaka Muttai' and 'Eetti' the films which have Vetrimaran's association either as a producer or the writer or both.

But the long lasting and superbly successful partnership will have a break for Vetrimaran's next ambitious project 'Vada Chennai'. In his exclusive Red Carpet Interview to Indiaglitz, Vetrimaran revealed that Santhosh Narayanan will score music for 'Vada Chennai' which will have Dhanush. Samantha and Andrea in lead roles.

Speaking more on 'Vada Chennai' Vetrimaran said "the film deals with 30 years of underworld history of North Chennai. 30-35 years of unwritten history is going to be discussed there. Which means it will have everything to deal with life like romance, breakups, violence, vengeance, betrayal and everything."

'Vada Chennai' is going to be produced by Dhanush under his Wunderbar Films banner and it is planned to be made in two parts.

it is worth noting that Santhosh Narayannan is presently scoring music for Dhanush's upcoming film 'Kodi' directed by Durai Senthilkumar. 'Dhanush is also the producer of 'Kodi'

Yuvan Shankar Raja's Valentines day treat

Young actor Kreshna is presnetly acting as the lead hero in 'Vizhithiru', 'Pandigai', 'Grahanam' and 'Yaakkai'. The last one mentioned in the list has been directed by Kuzhandhai Velappan and the film was officially announced in 2013..

Kuzhandhai Velappan has earlier directed 'Aanmai Thavarael' that released in 2011.

The film was critically acclaimed for its deft portrayal and hard hitting take on human trafficking. But Velappan's second film comes under a complete different genre.

As you would have guessed, 'Yaakkai' will be a romance film. Swathi Reddy has acted as Kreshna's love interest in the film for the second time after 'Yatchan'. Prakash Raj has acted in an important supporting role and the musical score has been rendered by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Sathya is handling the cinematography and National award winner Sabu Joseph has done the Editing for the film.

The latest announcement from the team is that the first single track of 'Yaakkai' will be released on February 13. This being a romance film and the single track released a day ahead of Valentines day, we can expect this will be the gift from Yuvan for the celebration of lovers on that day.

Malaysian Airport staff suspended for Nayanthara

We all know that actress Nayanthara and her staff were stopped in the airport at Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malayasia for an interrogation by airport officials.. Nayan had actually reached the airport to catch her flight back to India after completing her part in the shooting schedule of 'Iru Mugan' directed by Anand Shankar which is her first film with Vikram.

Some miscreants had leaked the photo in which Nayanthara is apparently being questioned by a group of security officials at the airport and also the photograph of her pass port. This lead to various rumors about Nayan's detainment. The rumors spread like haywire in social media and Whatsapp. It took a few hours for the 'Iru Mugan' team to officially clarify that the their lead actress was detained only for work permit related issues which were sorted out and the actress and her team had safely reached India. This clarification thankfully ended the rumors.

The 'Iru Mugan' team did not stop with that and they wanted the culprits who intended to defame the much loved star Nayanthara to be punished. They launched a complaint with the Airport officials to find and take action on the person responsible for releasing the photo of Nayan and her passport. In the investigation have found that an airport staff was responsible for the leakage of the photos and the person has been suspended by the Airport Authority.

Radhika Apte recently congratulated her co-star Rajinikanth who was honoured with a Padma Vibhushan award. The actress who will seen sharing the screen space with the legend in 'Kabali' was extremely happy and glad with the news.

As per sources, Radhika who was shooting the first schedule of the film with the actor In Goa was preparing for her next schedule when she learnt about the news. She immediately picked up the phone and called Rajni sir to wish him and congratulate him for the big news and both spoke over the phone for  a while.

Shared Radhika, "He is an icon for the people of the entire country. So many people idolize him and so do I. What I really like about him is his humility. There is so much I am learning by just observing him."

Rajnikanth and Radhika have also interacted on the sets of their film and the actress feel immensely lucky to be working with the legend. Radhika was initially nervous about shooting opposite the veteran actor, but was made comfortable by him later as he helped her with her lines and cracked few jokes. In fact the veteran actor even complimented Radhika on the first day of shoot! The duo are now all set to shoot their next schedule in Malaysia. Radhika left for same on 2nd February.

Jiiva's 'Pokkiri Raja' Audio release date is here

Actor Jiiva's 25th ilm 'Pokkiri Raja' is nearing completion and it is expected to hit the screen very soon. The film has been directed by Ramprakash Rayappa of 'Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum' fame and it stars Sibiraj as the parallel male lead. Hansika has acted as the female lead and the love interest of Jiiva in the film.

D.Imman has done the musical score. The makers have confirmed that the music album of the film will be released on February 14, 2016 as the Valentines day treat.

The teaser of the film that released on February 1 has raised the expectations on the film to a new level.
