Young actor Kreshna is presnetly acting
as the lead hero in 'Vizhithiru', 'Pandigai', 'Grahanam' and 'Yaakkai'.
The last one mentioned in the list has been directed by Kuzhandhai
Velappan and the film was officially announced in 2013..
Kuzhandhai Velappan has earlier directed 'Aanmai Thavarael' that released in 2011.
The film was critically acclaimed for
its deft portrayal and hard hitting take on human trafficking. But
Velappan's second film comes under a complete different genre.
As you would have guessed, 'Yaakkai'
will be a romance film. Swathi Reddy has acted as Kreshna's love
interest in the film for the second time after 'Yatchan'. Prakash Raj
has acted in an important supporting role and the musical score has been
rendered by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Sathya is handling the cinematography
and National award winner Sabu Joseph has done the Editing for the film.
The latest announcement from the team is
that the first single track of 'Yaakkai' will be released on February
13. This being a romance film and the single track released a day ahead
of Valentines day, we can expect this will be the gift from Yuvan for
the celebration of lovers on that day.
