…yes, the Desi Girl is scaling great heights after her stint in Quantico was widely accepted by the US audiences, and she won the People’s Choice Award for the Best Actress in a new show. Now, she will achieve more recognition, as she is all set to climb up to the stage of the Kodak theatre and present the most prestigious of all awards, The Oscars. Though she is not the first Indian to do so (that credit goes to late former Miss India Persis Khambatta, who appeared in Star Trek), she is definitely the first Bollywood actress to scale that height! Way to go, girl!

yes, Deepika Padukone will be the heroine in Vin Diesel’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage, and yes, she will be seriously kicking some ass! Vin Diesel posted a picture of his alongside Deepika Padukone on his Facebook page! One look at it, and I was floored by Deepika’s sensuous beauty! Dressed in black, she exuded raw magnetism in her bad girl attire and those obviously fake tattoos! Dying to wait to see more pics of hers in future, as well as the release of the film!

Poor Aamir Khan! The entire world seems to be hell bent on proving his intolerance statement right, and unfortunately he has to bear the brunt of it. After being removed from the Incredible India campaign, Aamir Khan is now also taken off as the brand ambassador of Snapdeal. Well, honestly, this move was very predictive, since Snapdeal had got a lot of flak ever since Aamir got into the controversy row, and it was looking a way out of it! All we can say is you are trying to ignore a man who made us be patriotic all over with Lagaan and Rang De Basanti! Give it a rest, please…He is a Khan and he is no effing terrorist!

Sunny Deol finally managed to bring his much delayed directorial, Ghayal Once Again to the theatres. It is a sequel to the 1990 hit, Ghayal, and Sunny Deol reprises his role of Ajay Mehra from the original. The second film of the week was the romantic drama, Sanam Teri Kasam. It stars newbies, Harshvardhan Rane and Pakistani actress, Mawra Hocane. The songs are already popular, and this could help the film in managing some decent business
